Bernie Sanders dropped out of the race. Too late? Does he matter anymore?

So now we’re still down to two seventy-something, rich, Protestant white men to choose from. What’s new? 

If the Dems are smart (which is a matter of interpretation) they can now begin to consolidate their party plan to dismantle the least re-election worthy president since Herbert Hoover. I don’t see a big problem with gathering oppo research here, as the inept and ridiculous incumbent spews self-destructive bile every day, and his political record reads like a man possessed of no tangible connection to ethics, accountability or competence. Shooting fish in a barrel.

Let’s see how smart they are.
