Poverty is not the same everywhere. The difference in life from very poor to very wealthy is not the same in India as it is in the US. Where in the world is the worst place to be poor? Why?

In the USA they try to make it a crime to be poor. It used to be normal to throw up a shanty on the back of a lot and live there while you built a real house on the front of the lot, paid for as it went up. But FHA made huge amounts of money available to anybody, and the banks insisted that all houses had to be pretty decent to keep resale values up, so people began to object to neighbors trying to live frugally and stay out of debt. If you want to live cheaply in the USA, you better get lost and come back when you are ready to get a loan and do things the American way.
