I generally don't use them for hanging clothes, but I do like to keep a few around because the wire has hundreds of household uses.
One time, my father patched a hole in our car's muffler by covering it with a panel cut out of a paint thinner can, secured by aircraft-grade high temperature silicone and coat hanger wire.
I use wire and plastic ones. I also use those "clampy clip" ones you get when you buy pants.
I keep one around to unclog drains.
I so agree. Don't forget waiting 2 hours for AAA to unlock your car or reaching for one of those little suckers
Ack!!!!!!!!
I generally toss those "clampy clip" thingys into the trash
No more wire hangers!
Dammit you beat me to it! I was going to reply along those lines but thought it "might" be in bad taste. Ah well, at least I know I have company.
I've done that, too
Never!
i have some but nothing is hanging from them.
Does this come with instructions?
Yes, I still have a few of them in the house. One of my former neighbours used to use one as a car aerial, but I think she's got a new car now. I haven't seen the car with the gweek on it for a few years now.
PS a gweek is a car aerial made out of an old wire coathanger, in case you didn't know.
You learn something new all the time. I never hear this. It must be a Brit word.
Naw...to many uses to list
Smart,. Shirts get pointy soulders & rust stains and heavy things like coats break them and end up on the bottom of the closet.
Mommie Dearest, oh my.
I no longer hang clothes on them, but keep them around as they come in handy for many things.
I still have a few.
The thought of you weilding one of those things is terrifying
lol
Keep them away from bozette
