Try not to get yourself wound up about what other people do.. An example.. we are in lockdown here.. we are not supposed to have anyone who isn't within our household visit.. so no friends, no family, no visitors.. My neighbours keep having people over.. they are treating this like it's a holiday.. it annoys me BUT at the end of the day, it's none of my business, it's not my problem, I shouldn't worry about it.. live and let live

Is that what you do Addb? There are folks who are always disdainful contemptuous and supercilious about what others do or think. Going so far as to call it "nonsense". Take the matter of religion. The condescending among non-believers always make it point to put down people of faith. Why that is I have no idea. What's it to them if people choose to live a life of which they do not approve? Who made them the arbiter of what is right and what isn't? It matters not one whit to me if people believe in a power above and beyond or if they don't. It has nothing to do with me. That is my point. Why put down others for their beliefs if you are nto impacted by it at all? I don't get it. Thank you for your reply. I do get "worked up" when people put other people down for such absurd "reasons". Don't you? This post was edited by RosieG at April 13, 2020 1:44 AM MDT
