Have you recently noticed "new" Answermuggers seemingly crawling out of the woodwork?

But when you view their profiles, you can see that they have been members for several years.

I've noticed "new" muggers but didn't realize they were really "old" muggers.

This isn't a new profile, it's a renamed old one.

Speak of the devil! I noticed that you joined in 2016, but welcome and thanks for your reply.

I’ve noticed more active users, but same as Spunky, I haven’t notice they were older or returning members. With the exception of one who told me he was. This post was edited by Jaimie at April 13, 2020 1:04 PM MDT

My hypothesis is that with the current situation, people have more time on their hands and so are making use of it to posts on sites they had previously been part of but never found the time, energy, courage to post on

Yes...that's how I found Amber. She was disguised with a new avatar and name, but she was already my friend.

I'm retired. I like doing nothing and I now have plenty of time to do it. This post was edited by Element 99 at April 13, 2020 5:35 PM MDT

Yes, but all these restrictions because of the virus? How are people supposed to do what they want where they want when they want? That's what I meant by "not as much freedom to do whatever they like".

I was referring only to myself. I'm sure many other retirees feel the same.
