"an" historical area.
No. I live in a community where the people are from ancient history though.
An is acceptable but a is actually correct since the h is not suppressed.
Yes. Back in 10,000 BC this area, which is now on the Gulf of Mexico Coast and the harbor for which my town is named, was not even coastal. It was inhabited by nomadic Paleo Indians. After the ice age ended and the ice melted it got wet around here and I don't know where the Paleos went but the new people were called shell people (Calusa), and Florida became a peninsula and was like that when the first Spaniards arrived here in the 1500s.
I just read all of that; thank you for forcing me to learn those fascinating tidbits about SW Florida.
Yes...The lake Erie area was pivotal in the war of 1812.
I'm fighting back in the war against the H. ;)
Yes, Cristopher Columbus came here in 1492 and named our island, San Salvador island, Bahamas'.
You mean a historical district? I don't anymore, but I did for many years in NOLA. It was kind of a pain in the rear...
Gee, you never respond to my answers like that............................
I figured he needed an ego boost.
