  • If that is a "Rat Terrier" (the coat is wrong, unless that's a puppy coat), it's common nicknames are RT, Rat, Rattie.
    Once you learn to spell a word (even incorrectly) you tend to keep spelling it that way.

    There is another breed called a "Feist." It's nickname is "ankle biter."
