    Whatever "them" matter most to you CW. We all have a "them" we want to please and want to be accepted by don't we? I have no idea whom your 'them" is nor you mine. That is irrelevant. Homo saps are social creatures. They perform to be accepted approved of wanted. Well of course not all of us. Some are loners and prefer solitude to the blathering gibberish of ordinary typical off-the-shelf standard homo saps. When a child "them" are your parents teachers peers. As an adult employers of course because if you don't please "THEM" you are out on your arse aren't you? Did I answer your question? Now facetious is as facetious does.
