Discussion»Questions»answerMug» Anyone else having trouble using the mugger search? Its fine manually, but if I try to find a particular person it keeps trying to connect,..
What I found was that I had to type the exact username to find a particular Mugger... one of my friends was Ozgirl256 and when I tried searching for "oz" nothing came up... Luckily I remembered the exact name. Makes searching for people a little bit tricky.
I noticed that as well. I tried someone three times and it wasn't until the third time that it picked the person up. I will ask the devs to look into it.

The names have to be spelled exactly the same, means if there wasn't a space, it won't recognise the name with a space added. It also doesn't recognise the names if only half of it is included. You need the exact name to make the member search as it is for now.
They could have deleted or changed their user name too. Other options. Anyway, it will become better as the small errors are detected and corrected. No matter how long time you beta test something I guess full scale will show errors not caught. Patience and understanding will be needed for a period. :-)
It is on the fix list. You may want to try the main search at the top as well. If you leave it blank and hit enter, it will take you to a search page where you can tell it you want to look for Muggers only, but you do have to have an exact match. I just searched for "goat jumper" and he doesn't come up when you try "goat" or even "goatj" but he'll appear when you get a full match.
