My friend who came here from South Korea said she didn't think it was very cool in grade school having to study and learn all the history of a country that dates back about 5000 years.
WOW! I guess it's harder to learn about thousands of years than hundreds. But of course there is much pride in having that much history to identify and describe your culture. 1700 AD versus 1700 B.C. We are in our infancy. THE TERRIBLE TWOS. I don't know when or if we will ever outgrow the TERRIBLE TWOS. Maybe never. Thank you for your reply Kg! :)
