Is the some setting somewhere I can use to protect my e-mail address from being used for email notification or any other auto-generated SPAM

I just notice that the checkbox at "send me a notification when someone answer" is now set as the default.

I would prefer it not to be set EVER. I get plenty enough SPAM without that.

    Argh. now the email notifications are back. They prubably go reset to "Oh goodie, send me all the SPAM you can think of" when the site was updated.
    Alas part of the update seems to have been removing the the sea of checkboxes I unchecked. I cannot find it anymore. Grr.

    still work, and send me to a page full of checkboxes.

    Sadly the checkboxes were already unchecked, so why do I get all those mails again ?
