Either literally or figuratively, what was the last thing (not person) you put on top of something else? ~

Set a pen down on top of my notes that make no sense to anyone but me.

Sidebar: at work, I often wrote my notes in a foreign language so that if anyone who only understands English sees them, he or she will not know what they say.

      Will you marry me?

Let’s wait until we get the divorce DECREES settled first.

Pish posh!  You know those divorces of ours were merely in jest!  We belong together!

Er, um, I’ve found someone else. Bye. (Don’t try to track me down either.)

      Is who pregnant?  Jaimie?

No woman is or ever will be pregnant by me; I took care of that within months of my youngest child’s birth. I knew I was done, I’m proud to have done it, and I’ve never regretted the decision even once. The world has as many Little Randy Ds running around as will ever have.

With her being on here and also quite likely having sat on a toilet seat without protection at one time or another, one never knows.

Huh?  “Her”?  I don’t know what you mean about the toilet seat. Maybe your humor is just going over my head.

It certainly wouldn't be the first time, now would it?

Surely (Shirley?) you haven't forgotten all the ridiculous pregnancy questions in the Answerbag Epoch of long ago.

I was totally following this train of thought but wasn't ever on Answerbag.
I do know Shirley.  She does have many hang-ups when knowing how and when she is pregnant.

It makes perfect sense to me.  Literally, those look like formulas... formula-tively, speaking!
