I find that is a great date to make changes. May 19th must have been a sigh of relief and perhaps, a little fear. Who knew what was in store from that day forth? It seems to me you made some great things happen. Friendships, for starters and new, scary adventures full of excitement to follow. It reminds of me that song. You knew.
You see, I planned my marriage on this day for a number of reasons. Number 1. I thought it was fun. Number 2. Don would have a difficult time forgetting. Number 3. We could celebrate our anniversary TWICE 3 years in a row (February 28th AND March 1st... How about that for forward thinking???? ;)) and a HUGE CELEBRATION every 4 years.
After all these years,...It has worked fantastically for both of us!!!!
