I love "Live To Tell". I love the "True Blue" album, it has some of her greatest hits. There's "True Blue" itself, "Live To Tell", "Papa Don't Preach", "La Isla Bonita" and "Open Your Heart" all on the same album.
This group is for those of you who are into Astrology. Feel free to tell me all about your own star sign and how you think it describes you. If you know the details of the positions of the Moon and planets at the time of your birth, feel free to share it ...
Older generations accomplished it gradually. By the time I came to be born (1989) we'd been a politically correct community for quite some time. Did people not make such a sincere effort in your area in the 1950s or 60s, Rosie?
Where I come from we chased away all the racists and bigots years ago. They will never be welcome here. We inculcate our kids with equalitarian views and raise them to be civilised. Why can't the whole world be like that? Happy Monday to you too. :)
I do know what they mean, I simply refuse to have anything to do with them because of what they mean. If I said you were a sexist pig, would you know what that meant?

Here in the north we are known for or clearly-pronounced vowels, we don't mangle them or slur them so it's practically impossible to phonetically mistake "have" for "of"."I wish we would have moved sooner".Where I live we say "I wish we'd moved sooner".Another annoying thing that seems to have permeated society is this tendency to misuse the word "you", as in "Not just you, I mean everyone". Why have people forgotten that the word "you" is a personal pronoun? less
I think "would of" is worse than that. Why do people use "of" instead of "have"? I've never been able to get that. Not only do they sound different, they don't even have any letters in common.
That was what I saw when I logged into Fluther. It's nice to be told that my own hair looks good considering it's my job to make other people's hair look as good as possible. Lol :)
