What is the idea behind that?

I know they are not interchangeable, but people treat them as if they are. That's what I'm asking.

I personally like digging through the archives to find a topic that I don't remember seeing before.  I can't answer this one but I can correct the grammar:

        -inserting a "h"
    should be
        -inserting an "h"

    See, that was fun!
