That last sentence clinches the deal for me! It'd be years before such a woman could inflict the same damage to the republic as her nearest status quo competitor. :-)
Yes, for some reason no one wants a doctor, or a plumber, or an auto mechanic, or a lawyer who has never done the job before, but so many exiles from the Reality-Based Community want rookie politicians.
I'd prefer a doctor myself. Maybe an auto mechanic. I prefer my representatives to actually have and maintain some kind of contact with everyday reality. I know. I'm weird that way. :-)
I contend that some jobs are better filled (if not done) by people who AREN'T 'experts' and who haven't had tons of experience screwing the electorate at every possible opportunity.
We don't have to use our imaginations to see how bad both of these candidates would be as president, they've each their own rap sheet of corruption and outright lies. Neither are in any position to lecture the other, or anyone else for that matter, about ethics or professionalism.
Difference is, the worst one contender has done is screw a bunch of vendors/investors and p!ssed off a lot of people. The other has gotten people killed. Lots of people if you figure 'collateral damage' into the equation.
Oh, and let's not forget enabling the country's worst misogynist/rapist president for the entirety of his/her political career.
