If I renounced my amcerican citizenship can I get it back & have any rights? In the USA! Like I want to migrate to Argentina full time! Also dedicate my life to Argentina & speak official language of Argentina full time. My point what happens if I renounced my American citizenship?
Then you dont have it any more. Best make sure Argentina will give you citezenship first.
If you change your mind after having done that then you are officialy on an equal footing with any other argentinian who want to emigrate to the US. In practice you will be a bit better off, speaking good english and having graduation papers from whatever American schools you went to (Make sure to have those papers, dont loose them.)
But dont be cocky. The fear of foreign immigrants have been growing for decades. It gets harder and harder to get in. The next administration may not even bother with an interview before saying No.
If you are over the age of 18 at the time you renounce your American citizenship, your decision is irrevocable. But make sure you have the citizenship of Argentina prior. If not, it would result in your having no citizenship whatsoever and no protection of any government. If that happens, it could make traveling difficult because you might not be entitled to a passport from any country which means you would have no passport to re-enter the United States. But if you don't care about being a citizen of the US, by all means leave and worry about the repercussions later.
Argentina might allow duel citizenship.. So you might be able to have both US and Argentine citizenship.
