  • How do you know it wasn't "nice"? They might have enjoyed it.

  • How do YOU know THAT? Maybe SHE likes that SORT OF thing. That is VERY right WINGISH of you to CRITICIZE other people's BEHAVIOR.

  • @ Bromide - I think it would be a rare woman who enjoyed having her dress soiled like that. It doesn't wash out without leaving a stain. Most women would not like having to travel home in  stained clothing.

@ Excon -The public record from both Lewinsky and Clinton showed that both were willing participants.
I think the right wingers know this. But the game they are playing in this election is one of constantly misrepresenting the facts. I think they are trying to play on the short memories of the public to distort and confuse the issues.
In any case, what Hilary's ex-husband chose to do a long time ago is no reflection on who she is or her fitness or lack of it for POTUS. The conservatives are merely throwing red herrings. I interpret that as a sign that they know their campaign is not going well and are bankrupt for valid arguments or good track records to support their policies.

Do you  think Monica is the only one Clinton had inappropriate sexual  contact with?
There are many many women who claim Bill Clinton sexually harassed them and several who claim he raped them.

  • The rapes need to be proven.
There is no justice without proof.
If Clinton did rape anyone then he deserved to have been kicked out of his job irrespective of what side of politics he was on.
But it is not helpful to anyone's political debate to throw around unproved and unprovable accusations.
In this instance, Bill's behaviour is no reflection on Hillary, so the whole issue is irrelevant to the election campaign This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at October 3, 2016 5:48 AM MDT

How Hillary Clinton treated those many women some who were proven correct in court (not rapes but harassment and affairs) is a reflection on Hillary. Calling them names just as bad or worse than what Trump have used.

  • It was no ones business except for Bill, Monica, and Hillary.
Right wingers are always on the lookout for a "gotcha" moment, isn't everyone?

In this case, the true victom of this non-criminal act between two consenting adults is being punished and their actions highlight the on-going war against women.  The righties deny it is happening and they also have a spiteful hatred of the Clintons

  • Well not really my dear friend.
See, as the commander in chief of the.armed forces he got away with things that would destroy anybody else's career. So even though I do agree in principle that it was nobody's business but theirs, as the big Army.Chief in Command, he made it it every service man's business.

  • I'm confused...this is about Bill getting a BJ in the whitehouse. It has nothing to do with the military.
JFK engaged in extra marital affairs as have many, many other presidents. I see not one difference how and why this would affect his abilities as president of the US.  Let's remember that n one held a gun to Lewinksy's head when she did the deed. This was a secret until Monica's foul little friend ratted them out.

All in all, this has absolutely nothing to do with his wife, who was cheated on or her abilities to be president. None.  I can think of plenty of other reasons why she should not be president, but this isn't one.  This is a case of a segment of right wingers leading a disgusting and immoral attack on an the innocent party.

You don't know that Clinton did not use his power to coerce her into the action.  He was definitely had power over her as POTUS and her being just an intern.
But as I said in my answer. Monica is the least of the inappropriate sexual activity Clinton was involved in.....there are many allegations of rape and sexual harassment/assault Bill has been accused of since the 1970's.

  • and neither you, I, or anyone else out there knows for a fact that Clinton used his power to coerce her into the action.  Pure speculation that's politically motivated

TBH, who cares what happened? This new OLD news is nothing more than a mysogenistic, sexist, discriminatory, and disgusting attack on a woman since her opponents sleazy sex history, wife nbeatings, cheating, amd multiple divorces are hardly ever mentioned.  This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at October 3, 2016 8:20 AM MDT

  • I don't know anything about right wingers or whatnot. But I agree with you in the sense that The presidents escapades should not be a reflection on Mrs Clinton's aspirations to.the.presidency. But see, that's not what s in issue. The issue is Mrs Clinton's treatment of the women when.they came forth. I m sure you know this.
Also, the fact that many before him ate from the forbidden jelly, does not excuse The President to go ahead a dip his cigar in it.
But, I do agree that the only purpose that this is supposed to serve at this time is nothing but mud slinging.
    Thanks Goat.

  • "I don't know anything about right wingers or whatnot."

To understand the entire context of this rediculous and despicable rehashing of old history and the blaming of a victom for the indescretions of a cheating husband, you need understand that the American right wing conservatives are nothing more than fascists who have had a beef with the Clintons for a very long time.

I've said this before and I'll say this again...I am no fan of the Clintons for many other reasons and I never wanted her as a president, either.  This BS about her cheating husband is exactly that...BS

"The issue is Mrs Clinton's treatment of the women when.they came forth."

What treatment might that be? The treatment that any wife would give to the mistress of a cheating spouse? It's not like she called them disgusting, fat, sluts, etc. in public which her opponent has.  C'mon. She has a very human and valid escuse. What's his?

" It's not like she called them disgusting, fat, sluts, etc"????

Yes she did call them names like that:
    Looney Toons
    Sl*t
    Wh*re
    Trailer trash
    Gold digger
    Bimbo
    Crazy
    B*tch

But no she didn't call anyone fat or disgusting....

  • Maybe some of that has to do with him saying under oath that he did not have sexual relations with that woman. He lied under oath.

  • Yes, that's true. but all cheating husbands are liars.  That goes for ALL of them; whether they are a politicion or not.

... The wife who was the victom is not to blam for her husbands indescretions. Anyone who wants to go that route is walking a very thin line.

Heir Trump's constant barrage of insults on women already put's them onhe downward slope.  If he gets into office I want to know how the parents of a bully who targets girls with verbal abuse are going to be able to justify punishing their kid when the President himself engages in such activity.
