Within reason Rosie......not all things are fit for the general publics ears.. If a Nuclear Missile was heading for our capital...that was giong to strike in 15 minutes...what point would there be in broadcasting that to everyone...
I'd want to know D. I'd want to be with Jim when the end came. Wouldn't you want to be with YOUR family? Their faces would be the last thing you'd see before annihilation. Sigh. Thank you for your reply sweetie. Different strokes!
Can you imagine the carnage and madness and extra suffering it would cause instantly Rosie...people would beging to kill each other ,just to try to get nowhere if you were told where it was going to hit.... I do understand your sentiment ...but dying is not something any living thing has any control over ,it will be when it will be ...
I think for us it would be very easy to be together D. He never is very far away from me physically. When he plays golf he plays at the golf course two blocks away from home in our retirement community. When he plays tennis he is 3 miles away from home at the local tennis courts. Especially considering that we shelter at home we almost always are together anyway. Once in awhile he will go farther away to Costco...25 miles away..to purchase whatever they sell he saw and wants. So that would be the farthest away he'd be and it would be a rarity. He already did that last Wednesday. That was the first time he's been to Costco since mid-march when we began to shelter in place at home. Thank you for your reply. I hope it doesn't come to that but you know what D? These days nothing surprises me. :)

So you are the kind of person who never plans or looks forward to things happening? You like surprises the unexpected the ad lib? Not moi. I like to plan. I like to know. I like to have things to which I can look forward to, depend upon and control. Not a fan of experiencing things thrust upon me out of the blue without my consent. Not one bit. So no I don't want surprises D. So yes I want to plan what is coming at me to the extent that I can. I am a retired internal auditor. We don't not by nature like surprises. OK. I beat that horse to death. Thank you for your reply. A question cometh forth from this which of course I am obliged to ask.
No one knows what destiny holds in store for us all tomorrow Rosie....what will be will be...you afre free to plan what ever you like for the future ..but the spanner in the works waits for no one when its falling around with people's lives...
True. We're going out to do a couple of errands and then will return home...all in town within a radius of two miles from home. Will we return home safe to live another day or will there be an accident that takes us out? I don't know but we're going out anyway. We'll take our chances D. "Man is not made for safe harbors". Thank you for your reply! :)
That would seem to require a lot of work and difficulty and , let's face it, who has the leisure to spend chasing the "truth"? Most of us have lives and work and families and friends and interests and activities so we accept whatever truth makes sense to us and works for us. It would be arrogant for anyone to assume or think they or anyone else has all the "truth". So we go with whatever truth we are able to get our hands and minds around.
