If possible, have any of you dined in since the starting to reopen?

We went to Red Lobster.
It was good. Looked like about half capacity was allowed.
The section we were in still had a table available.

My wife and I dined in at a Denny’s restaurant about ten days ago.

    I hope it was good.
I have been wanting to go inside for a while....I think just because they told me I could not. This post was edited by my2cents at June 1, 2020 8:03 PM MDT

You must live in a heavily hit area.

Not necessarily, because he didn’t say whether or not the fine-in dine-in choice is available in his area. It’s possible that even if it is available, he’s made the personal decision that he’ll wait a while.

I did not base my comment on assuming dine-in is not available in his area. This post was edited by my2cents at June 1, 2020 8:11 PM MDT

Not this time, my dear, because it’s a descriptive two-word phrase that modifies the noun that follows it. Nice try.

I'd describe my area as moderately hit, not heavily. Dine-in is available. I personally think it's too soon, too risky to eat at a public table indoors at the moment. And the amount of people doing so is quite concerning.

    Makes sense.
My area is very minor only 12 cases, 2 deaths 1 active now. My daughter is more worried. Her county had over 100 cases. But under 10 deaths in a county of almost 300,000.
Today she told me, "You can not drive through the city cause of the riots." She did not lock her Dad and I down over covid but she was putting her foot down over the riots. We told her we would go around the city.  (That was plan anyway because the virus is in the city) This post was edited by my2cents at June 3, 2020 8:36 PM MDT

Your daughter sounds sensible. Stay away from the city. :)
