just got a different truck...With Air Conditioning.
Wow...pretty cool. We've had a few hot days here,
...just turning the heat into cool air When i can't take the heat.
anything above 80 is too hot for me. In the 90's and i melt.

Since I have no AC, I have no choice but to stand it no matter how hot it gets. (so far that’s been 117F)

I've gotten used to it.  I open the house up at night to let the cool air in and then close it up in the morning when the inside and outside temperatures are even.  I can usually keep it below 84 in here for most of the day.

My Grandma was that way. She never had an air conditioner in her life.  She had a gas heater in the living room and went to bed closing the door blocking all the heat from her room.   :)

That is a smart and money saving way of heating.  I do the same thing.

You sleep in a cold bedroom too.
Definitely cheaper. We have used a wood stove like that but we left the door open....for heat.

I work in outside.  No air.  At home the air comes on after the temp inside gets over 76.   It is set to 74 when we are home and  80 while at work.

I can manage when it's 80-85 if it isn't too humid.  The fans do a good job, but when it gets that hot and the humidity rises then I have to turn o the A/C.

When I feel warm the AC is coming on.  There are only a few weeks out of year that it doesn't run.

I’ve never been a fan of air conditioning, I’ve long been a fan of hot weather.
