I answered quickly and from a socio-economic stance among other major differences. But.    Of course there are similarities.  I grew up in a poor home full of love and was taught to love and behave or I would go to hell.

My girls grew up in a home full of love, encouragement, and exposure to many people different from us in all kinds of ways.  They were taught that God is love .  Also, the home was not a poor one.
