    Mostly firecrackers. Lots of calls to 3-1-1 to complain.

    Complaining here is futile. In my sister's 'hood, gunfire is common, so they are used to it.

    It started sporadically about 6 weeks ago.  At first, it sounded like just firecrackers.  It has gotten to the point where it's every night now, starting around 9 PM and it's more than firecrackers.  Of course, we also have these cars that sound like they're constantly backfiring, so I'm not sure which is which.
