While republicans control the Senate majority Washington, D.C. will never become a state. WHY?

Oh c'mon you know darn well WHY. Over 80% of D.C. is DEMOCRAT. The senate majority republicans will NEVER approve of that. NEVER. Forget that 700,000 people have no representation. Who told them to live in D.C.? Let them move to state where they can get representation.

So why not flee from the den of iniquity known as Washington, D.C.? Get out. Get out now. Let the town become empty barren. A GHOST TOWN. What could it hurt? Whatcha got ta lose? Try it you might like it!

    Yes.  Leave the terroritory.  It has always been a Federal terrority. People know that when they choose to live there.  

    To give them statehood would require an Constitutional amendment....that is not gonna happen.  If you want to go back to the original way the Founders wrote it up....then return Arlington, VA to DC.  Of course neither VA nor the Dems would support that either.
