July 14th will be my fifth anniversery here. How long have you been here?

Sounds like what happened to us on SodaHead.  All of a sudden, with absolutely no warning, we were cut off.  Couldn't log in and that was that.  

 

  I didn’t realize that the same thing had happened there.

At first, we all thought it was a glitch.  Then they put up a notice that the site shut down.  No one could access any of their friends' email addresses or anything else.  Then people got really angry.

Same time I joined AB. If you go to your profile, it tells you when you joined.

 

 My AnswerMug profile date shows I joined in 2012, shortly after AnswerMug was created and when I was still a member of AnswerBag. I was curious about this new upstart, so I joined it to have a look-see.  I selected the user name DarqueKnight.

  Once AnswerBag shut down, I eventually found my way here and picked up from the profile I had created. I found out that many former members of AnswrerBag had migrated to here, so I changed my user name to the same one I had always had on AnswerBag, Randy D.

  The rest is history.

  A lot of marriages and divorces over a relatively short while can really distort time recognition in someone‘s mind. Either that or too much wine. Or both. 

~

I blame the divorces, don’t blame my wine. 

 

  The good thing is that due to our recent truce and reconciliation, those nasty, pesky, messy divorces are all behind us now, Baby. 

Oh great, if you can’t divorce me, does that mean I should be expecting to murdered in the next 48 hours? 

 

  Only one of us will murder the other one. There’s no assurance that it will be me doing it to you.
