How is your city handling July 4th?

    Those that shouldn't be celebrating it will be. Considering the circumstances of this pandemic, better them than me.

    We're still having our annual parade.   However, instead of everyone lining up to watch it, it's coming to the people.  It will all be inside vehicles that will drive along every street in the city limits.  This way everyone can watch from their own home/apartment.
    The annual firework  show is still a go as well.  However, this year they will be set off on a high hill so that most of the area can see without leaving their homes.

      All of the planned fireworks displays are cancelled, and even though beaches and parks won’t be closed (San Diego County is the only Southern California county allowed to remain open), any state-owned parking lots associated with them will be closed in a measure that’s designed to cut down on the crowds.

    I don't know, I don't have much interest in it. I'll spend the day sobbing as usual.
