I do have, and I am zooming in to ve able to see it. I never said I had an issue with lock screen or unlock screen. All I said is that my zoom only works when the screen is unlocked, not locked like JA said.
That does sound frustrating. I've never used the chat feature, so I'm probably not the best person give an opinion there. I have had to log in quite a bit, but I haven't lost anything, like comment text, as a result of it. I figured it was just a login glitch with the remember me feature. I don't know much about the gifts either.

I hate the chatbox. I won't use that. Too weird for words.
I want the old one back. This is like calling people on the phone and hoping they are home. Don't like that.
I want a home page. I want an alert page. I don't want my emails hung up with tons of messages and you have to click everytime you answer to get rid of it. That is a pain in the butt.
I'm not sure where you got that idea. The chatrooms are in the chatbar on the lower left. Please watch the video I posted.
On photos, are you referring to your avatar? I can make a tutorial video for you, but I fear it would be for naught because you haven't used the other one I made on using the chat yet.
I like it. Haven't had too many issues. Not as many as many others anyways. The only thing I miss from the old site was the customization of our profiles and being able to add things to it. The profiles are a little lacking but that's not much of an issue.

"I'm not making a decision yet." It was only yesterday that I was able to get into "My Groups." Until I feel that everything is as it is going to be, I'll just be patient. (As another member mentioned ... not crazy about the new profile page)
Features I would like to see improvements on: • After I've viewed notifications, they disappear. I'd like to be able to go back and review them again. • Profile customization is not as straightforward and no photo I choose seems to be the right size for background. • Overall functionality is more complicated: blogs have glitches when uploading videos/photos, problems with font/formatting staying the same throughout the page, and also all blogs must now be placed under a category. I don't need all of my blogs/questions in a category, and trying to select the most appropriate categorization for my thoughts/inferences is slightly agonizing. • Profile information must be selected under the "More+" category rather than being available right on the main profile page. Also, we were permitted to post links/videos in the "About Me" before, and that option is no longer available. Other comments: • I don't care for polls/videos since both of those may be used/accessed in basic Q&A and/or blogs. That's all I can come up with right now.
I understand this is not a for-profit site and I'm glad the people who are making it possible really care about AM users and making this work. Overall the site is a good tool--as good as it gets for social media, as far as I've seen.
