Mid-Life Crisis

We've all heard the term mid-life crisis but is there really such a thing?  If you turn 70 years old, you have the money and want to buy a Corvette, I say go for it.  If you divorce your spouse of 25 years because you've been miserable then get a b/f or g/f half your age, I say go for it if that's what's going to make you happy.  Why do some want to call people living their lives the way they want a mid-life crisis?  What do you think?

If I live to be seventy years old I'm going to start smoking and drinking again.  Maybe take up skydiving.  What am I gonna do? Die or something? :-)

I've heard it said that seventy years old was that magic age where you're granted license to say/do pretty much anything you want except hurt other people.  I like that.  :-)

(BTW, 'mid-life crisis' is what people go through in their forties and fifties. :-))

That's a great way of looking at life, but you wouldn't catch me jumping out of a plane unless it was on fire. lol

That would certainly be a good reason to jump out of one. :-)
