US Rep John Lewis was a fraud. He was, as Shakespeare observed: Full of sound and fury signifying nothing. I couldn't find anything inspirational about his career in Congress, in retrospect, and I won't pretend to be laudatory about him now.
I know very little about John Lewis so I can't speak about him. Which politician inspires me? There are none that inspire me per se but there are a few that I have respect for. Mainly because of their honesty, integrity, frankness, bluntness, and for their love of this Constitutional Republic, it's Constitution, and the rights and freedoms that go with it.
