I'm sorry to say that the sea of violence in which our children grew up has now become a sea of violence, drugs, mental illness, and all of that other crazy **** that they are having thrown at them at every turn.  I would not let my children be in a public or private school today; I would have no choice but to stay home and home school them.  I pray for parents having to make really tough choices today.  God bless them. Another one for the "only in America" files. Australian parents can send their kids to school and be confident that they will come home safely. We've never ever had a fatal school shooting here. Not one.

Since 1991, there have been six school shootings in Australia. Three people died in the La Trobe and Monash shootings, both at universities

Universities, not schools. Not even close to the same thing.

Yet you count them as school shootings in the US.  AU schools have to worry about stabbings.

Off topic; you missed the whole point.  Who cares?  Right?
