I think American/North America cheese is good but foreign cheeses have more interesting flavors. Had a teacher in high school from England who said most of our cheese is 'processed junk'.
I hear that. I wouldn't do it every day, but once in a while it's fun. When I partake, I often feel like I'm somehow smarter, or just more in tune. Total opposite of drinking alcohol, and so much healthier!
People give the word 'processed' a bad rap. ALL CHEESE IS PROCESSED. Unprocessed cheese is called milk.
American cheese is a mixture of two or more cheeses, mainly cheddar. I don't like it. It is much too salty.

I don't eat cheese really. I have been to the Tillamook Cheese Factory though in Tillamook, Oregon. It is quite a process, fun to look at, and a nice place. They have the best cheese curds too.
