What was the plight of people from Allied countries who lived in Axis countries during World War II? Did they suffer abuses or humiliation?

 

  What are some of the historical references telling how they were treated by the people or by the governments of Axis countries?

    My theory on all wars is very different from what people may have had then and now.

    Rather than bore you with my thoughts on the whole situation, I will answer with simply this:

    We are ALL human no matter where we live geographically.  We all care about something or someone.  We needed each other.  We still do.

    Your point of reference is unfortunate.  It is my brain. 

    I will dig for you in reference material.  But.... I have a "feeling," you will find the subtext to be the same.
