What was the last thing you ate that your taste buds found offensive?

    I opened a package of Italian sausage a few weeks ago and it did not smell right. It had been in the freezer about a month so it must have been bag when I bought it.  I threw it out.  I didn't taste it; I didn't need to.  The smell was offensive enough.

    I thought of something this morning. It was a bloody-Mary made by a friend who ss also a bartender. She put stuff in it that I normally wouldn't. The mix is called Zing-Zang and is quite good. But with all of the other stuff, it was quite bitter. Without the vodka made it taste better.

    Only thing I can think of is anytime I’ve had something served to me with cilantro on it. It ruins a dish for me, makes everything on the plate taste like soap. 


    Is this post you still whining about the broccoli chips? Eat your veggies, they’re good for you.

  • I love the taste of cilantro...and yes this post was a hateful shout-out to those awful broccoli chips. I thought I was going to have to gargle bleach to get the taste out of my mouth.

    its been a while since I ate something that was truly offensive to my buds 
    about 4 years ago when my husband and I were still dating he gave me duck with raw duck blood and lime juice 

    it was the WORST thing I’ve ever tasted in my life. i almost ended the relationship right there. top ten anime betrayals
