    I've been interested in it, as it seems to get a lot of positive "word of mouth" advertising. 
    Being in it's sixth season, somebody must like it pretty well.

    Well the 6th season was quite awhile back.  But I have just gotten into the habit of buying the whole series since I think it is just as cheap, but you have to wait until it comes out.  Well, this came out last year and was on TV at least a year before that.  So this is OLD by now.  But I let it go because I was in school and could not take the time to watch it properly.   So, now I have a few days to watch it and BOY is it good. I can't believe I had the stamina to put it down.

    This stuff is right up my alley.   We have The Lord of the Rings and every fantasy and sci-fi character you have ever loved and then some.  It really is entertaining.

  • I don't have TV service, so my plan was to buy the series also. I have some already ... LoR, Merlin, Robin Hood. I like the medieval stories.

    I've never even thought about watching it.  It might even be on Netflix.  The little bit I watch TV is Netflix and right  now I am  only watching Midsomer Murders.  There are over 100 episodes and they are all 90 minute movies.  This is a British series and I love it!

    It is only on HBO and I cannot imagine you would like this.  It is not your taste.   We like a lot of the same things and I don't think this is you.   It is a lot of fantasy and sci-fi mixed in with fake/real histories.

  • Yes, Game of Thrones is awesome.  If I had to make a 'must watch' list of current shows, it would consist of two series:  Game of Thrones and Black Mirror.

    Black Mirror makes you feel like you've been punched in the gut after each episode, but you learn to enjoy it.  Go watch it now.

  • There are some episodes on Youtube.  They are all standalone episodes with no overall story arc similar to The Twilight Zone.
