Personally, I am an inveterate seed collector/propagator. This year wildflower seeds and acorns, and Dailily seeds gleaned from the garden, as usual, plus a large number of Black walnuts (I started sowing Black walnuts just last year). If just a few of them germinate successfully we will have a nice grove of Black walnuts over there in a quarter of a century or so. I'd like to get some Horse chestnuts going, but not many of those trees around here from which to collect the 'conkers'.
