I didn't see that movie. That was the music they played for Grace Kelly's funeral and that was the first time I had ever heard it. I thought it was the most soulful piece of music I'd ever heard.
I agree, it's an incredible piece of music. I think I may have forgotten that it was played at Grace Kelly's service but I now remember reading that it had been played. 'The Elephant Man" is about the real John Merrick. I recommend it if you're ever looking for something to watch. I forget the condition Merrick had that caused his physical abnormalities. Great movie to me. It was filmed in black and white. :)

For many years it was thought Joseph Merrick, widely known as the Elephant Man, had suffered from neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). In 1986, geneticists Tibbles and Cohen2 demonstrated that Merrick was actually afflicted with Proteus syndrome, a much rarer condition.
Wow! I had no idea about the 1986 newer diagnosis. where have I been?
The neurofibromatosis is the condition of which I was trying to remember. I will look more into this, I hope. Thanks for sharing this link! I'm going to bed soon though, now. Two long work days ahead me. :)
