I think women definitely can talk graphically with other women.  That is NOT what bothers me.  Trump was talking about how he was going to get into the pants of a MARRIED woman.  The man had no shame.

At least the men and women I am around in my present day circle don't talk like this, even if they are making sexual jokes.

I can't believe anyone wants to excuse this behavior in him.  He was telling us exactly what he was about because he didn't think anyone was listening.  I doubt the man has changed because he's running for president.

Of course they do. Even Hilary.

Look, he didn't know he was being recorded. As far as he was concerned at that time he was having a bit of banter with a friend in private. That's what everybody does in private. We're human beings. I also know that Hilary is a human being, too, who thinks human being stuff. She'll walk around at her rallies and she'll be thinking stuff like, "he's cute", "I bet that guy over there's got a big one", "I bet that man knows how to make a woman happy", and all kinds of other natural stuff that all humans think about. It doesn't mean that a person is unfit to run because of that. It's the most normal thing in the world. But she'll not get caught saying those things because she's too cautious and too careful being in politics. The big difference, however, is that Donald was not running at the time. Not even a politician. So why try to make him accountable for letting off some of the same steam that everybody lets off privately, when he wasn't even in politics? Why should that cost him?

The truth is, they will do everything they can to bring him down. Anything to make Hilary win. Whoever made that recording has been in possession of it for a very long time. Since 2005. But it has been strategically released at this time, one month before the vote, 48 hours before the debate, to give Hilary advantage.

"He rates women from 1 to 10"

Yup! Good. Show me any straight man who doesn't.

  • When you say,
"She'll walk around at her rallies and she'll be thinking stuff like, "he's cute", "I bet that guy over there's got a big one", "I bet that man knows how to make a woman happy",
It makes all of your argument sound crazy.
I'm having problems accepting anybody could actually believe that.

You know why someone will recorded someone, or spy on them. Let get to the root of it. People who does this are really sex pervert. The recorded or spy for the reason to find something to cover their self up and project their self on others to claim that person is that to protect their self.  This is one of the reason why some women (locker room talk) talk about others. My wife has cuaht a very moms in the community who ask her question that are none of the women business. Example, what does your daughters do when they see their brother with erection. She cut the woman off. She told her my sons erection is family business only. She told her to keep away from your family (husbans, sons, and daughters). You know what she was doing was to get my wife to said something and turn around with others and claim that our children be doing something sexually. So what she was doing was fantasy our son who was 12. We all been there. We all have deal with stupid people who has no respect for their self or others. There are the one who knows how to destroy families, marriage with their tongue. They love to plants seed of events that never took place.

While at one time it wasn't considered proper for a woman to engage in vulgar conversations, nowadays many  women are just as bad or even worse than men. The world has decayed morally to the point these kinds of verbal exchanges are considered normal, and acceptable in many circles.

  • But is it excusable, therefore, for women to grope men's crotches or to have an uncontrollable condition whereby they stick their tongue done the throat of any bit of male totty?

  • Have you forgotten our conversation of long ago on the "men have needs" issue. Remember the men have needs emergency patrol?
"Sorry ma'am", says the EMT dude guy, "we're going to have to confiscate your genitals, this man is having a men have needs monent! There is no time to lose!"
    Remember?

  • When I say needs I'm not talking about cooking and cleaning. I know all women need that.
I'm talking about other "needs", of which I cannot talk about on account of you being a proper lady. You know?
Frontal crotch assault. Which makes me wonder, ,"what's the big deal?"
Don't we go around saying , " be strong, you have to grab life by the B***s".
Why would it obvious counterpart be frowned upon?

  • 'Grabbing life by the p****' doesn't have the same connotations of testosterone-snatching manliness inherent in the b***s thing, and that's surely the point. P's are passive receptacles etc etc.
And your blatant attempts at ironic winding uppy aren't going to work.
    tsk tsk

It happens around kilts, usually after consumption of alcohol. We have to laugh it off or the nuclear option is to ruin the occasion.

Probably, but so what if they do?

That's no more anyone else's business than are the comments that Trump made in what he believed to be a private conversation.

A telephones installer once told me of an occasion when he and a colleague were fitting cables along the outside wall of a factory.

From the open fan-light windows of the Gents' toilets came plenty of effin' & blindin and some crudely sexual humour, but most of the overheard talk was about the work or sports, even if sometimes "ripe".

However, what they overheard from the Ladies' (!) was far worse. It was mainly sexual, and sometimes highly personal about their own lives. He said he and his mate were no shrinking violets but found the experience quite embarrassing, and were glad to finish that section of the work.

I've sometimes thought about that since, and wondered if women are crude between themselves as a release from the rather unfortunate aspects of physiology Nature has bestowed upon them. If the talk is humorous then it must be "black humour" - a mutually-supportive way to deal with unpleasant or horrible situations, and not just sexual. It might be reprehensible in contents, but in context, better than buckling under the strain.

That was in the 1970s. I don't suppose much has changed since, but throughout my working life since then I have noticed some lessening in such behaviour. Or I was just lucky to work with men who might be crude in talk, and I've joined in sometimes, but did respect women in reality. For a while I worked in engineering machine-shops, where you can't be shy and delicate; and where pin-ups were common-place and included trade-suppliers' calendars (think Pirelli, for example). Yet although many in these all-male enclaves could be crude, some used the F-word in almost every sentence by unwitting habit, and the toilets in one factory had a stash of pornographic magazines - I very rarely if ever heard any man talk about his own sex-life.

Let alone boast about mis-treating women: I am pretty sure any man who admitting groping women or otherwise assaulting them would have become very unpopular with his colleagues.

It been going on for thousands of years. It just now women in general do not care to put it in the street. Like my wife and our other female adults friends said. Just listing to a mother running her mouth and you know everything about their home and what goes on. Than they wonder why their husband and the kids do not what to be around her. My sons and daughters love their mom. They know she does not share personal things about them to anyone. I am the same way. This is one of the strong points in our marriage. We do not have double gender rules. All family rules apply to the children and their parents. See my wife is a nurse at a elementary school. So in the summer when kids are out of school that she here with them. That has been a great blessing for us. Well she see kids all day for health reason and she teaches some of the heath classes. She know personal things about many of the kids and I do not evening know what it is. She is also involved in teaching the sexually educational class. When I come home and so glad to see her and the kids do also. When we sit at the dinner talk there is complete open in sharing about the day. We can have this bonding relationship of a family. I am the same way with my wife and the kids. I do not allow others on the job or other place get into a talk about (trash talk) my family.  This post was edited by BlueJay at November 22, 2016 2:04 PM MST
