After relentlessly/systematically getting rid of everyone in the Repulican Party Trump will be the last man standing. Macho enough for you?

That is one he** uv an accomplishment. He did it single-handedly! He has destroyed an entire major political party. Can anyone boast of having done such a momentous thing or is it only Trump, all Trump, just Trump, forever Trump who could have pulled it off?  if America survives him (if he doesn't go gunning for the country and those who didn't vote for hin and take us out too) will Trump be a subject in history classes? How he brought the Grand Old Party to its knees in one election cycle? His name will go down in history for far more than his branded structures. DA MAN WHAT AM! Who could have made up a story like that?

Perhaps in his view, Trump is being a good and loving neighbor with his contributions to politics and society? He's very involved so don't you love him?

Me? LOVE  Donald J. Trump? No tex. I don't even like him. I have to like folks before I can love them. I have to respect them and they have to respect me as well. That will never happen between me and him. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday m'dear! :)

I think your question is based upon a flawed premise.

Yes, Trump is a complete embarassment whose reality-show antics will likely cost the GOP the 2016 Presidential election against an historically disliked Democratic candidate. As someone who loaths Trump and all he represents, it has been pleasing to see him get his comeuppance.

But over 40% of Americans will still vote for Trump, and the GOP has made MASSIVE gains at the state and local levels during the Obama administration.

There is a very pertinent video by Matthew Yglesia which illustrates the reality of continued GOP political dominance at every level EXCEPT the Presidential race.
