What was the last rule that you were more than happy to break?

I ate at a sandwich shop that had this on a sign above the menu board, “Absolutely NO substitutions!”  On the sandwich that I ordered, they only offered mayonnaise, no salad dressing.

I insisted. Call me a rebel.

  • Weak.  The person making the sandwich was the real rule breaker here.

Jealous. Vegemite and guacamole for you!

  • The vegemite can suffice for a legit punishment but  I happen to love guacamole.

  • You haven't broken any rules since?

Since yesterday? No, maybe, I forget if I was given any more rules?

  • I'll give you a new one. You can break it and feel rebellious.  You're not allowed to drink anymore water today.

I regularly run a stop sign at a specific 4-way-stop intersection.

  • What do you have against this 4-way stop?  Is it the type of instance where it's notorious for people just stopping and no one going because everyone is trying to tell everyone else to go?

It is easy to see that there are no cars nearby. Stopping is a waste of time.
