This question is being asked with the idea that it’s the exact home that you bought, the size of it isn‘t changed, the appraisal of it isn’t changed, nor are any of its amenities, the location, etc, nothing at all beyond the selling price.
Your answer can be based on, but is not limited to any of the following probabilities:
Finances/fiscal planning/budget/savings/other investments
Ability to afford other real estate
Decisions on education-related matters
Employment-related decisions
Retirement-related decisions
Quality time with family members
Quality of life in general
Peace of mind

I believe the second one might be a mobile home (trailer). [Caravan, to those across The Pond.]

Huh?
Go ahead and post it if you see a question there.

What are you on about? What change? I changed my question? You have me so confused.

Thank you for your answer. Well, in that case, it appears your situation was much different than other people’s, so I’ll alter the question this way: after your first house, if you’ve ever purchased any other residence, how might your life have been different if the price would have had been half of what it was?

Thank you; I stand corrected!
