Not in the direct vicinity, as far as I know. There are coyotes living wild in San Diego County, in addition to other predatory canine species, but the area where I live doesn’t have the open spatial habitat that they need. I do not know whether or not this particular area was ever populated by them.

Human presence and urban development have worked hard to push native species from their habitats.
