If you found a back door to some private information?

Would you blast it for everyone to see, knowing it would cause headaches and ruin reputations,  or keep it to yourself?

    I doubt I would do it for fun.  If making it public would serve any useful purpose OR if I felt like the public had a right to know, I wouldn't hesitate.  The reason/motive for doing it is the important thing here.
