For a brief moment (8 years) in America's history we the people elected a person of color to lead us. And now again we shine. How so?

We have elected a woman of color to be our Vice President.

A FIRST

A WOMAN
A WOMAN OF COLOR
A WOMAN whose heritage is African American and Indian

On track perhaps to become our president futurely.

Imagine that! For all we have been through these last 4 years we come up smelling like roses!

Good on us.

    Almost certain to contest an election as Democrat nominee, veeps of outgoing Presidents tend to do that and it's quite likely that Biden won't seek re-election in 2024 - he's already going to be the oldest ever President come inauguration. Will America be ready for a female POC to be POTUS by then? Only time will tell.
    (Hopefully she'll pick Tammy as running mate.)

    Of course I cannot foresee what or whom America will be 4 years hence. But 75 million of us voted for the ticket with a woman as veep on it. And by then there will be more young people of an age to vote and more women involved in politics. Looking good don't you think? Thank you for your reply R! :)

    It's positive, but a big question on my mind is: will non-Trump-supporting Americans have learned how blind it is to pretend that those who would again vote for someone like Trump either don't exist or aren't important? 

    Trump ran to undo Obama's work; Biden is now president to undo Trump's changes. When the next election comes, hopefully it will be about something that's common to the people. And to think that there is no such thing, would be to invite the same mistake again.
