    Probably worse than that.

Trump never wanted to serve the country---his whole life has always been serving himself.

His loss is a personal rejection and he want's payback---and Biden and his administration are perceived by him as the enemy; so he is adopting a scorched earth policy, to wit:

When an army is retreating, destroying everything that could be of use to the enemy as it goes...so all that falls into the enemy's hands is wreckage.

He no doubt considers any damage to our democracy to be acceptable collateral damage.

I know. It's quite peculiar that his peeps worry about what he is doing to his LEGACY! What legacy? What is it that they want so much to protect? Nothing that I can use or you  or others of our ilk. However...and please remember this...70 million voted for him. 70 million are him. 70 million will be here after him. GOD HELP US. Didja hear what the pomous a** said about a transition? "There will be a smooth transition to the second trump administration". Later he said "I was joking"! Yeah right. He was talking directly to the person who lost the election. He loves to kiss a** and brownose. Sigh. So we hold on tight and keep looking ahead and BELIEVE it will work out OK. Right tom? We have to do that. If we don't who will? Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday to thee and thine! :)

I walked by a meeting of Trump supporters last night---I could hear them singing---I recognized the song---It was so appropriate---It was Use Me by Bill Withers (1972)

My friends feel it's their appointed duty
    They keep tryna tell me
All you want to do is use me
But my answer, yeah to all that use me stuff
    I wanna spread the news
That if it feels this good getting used
Oh, you just keep on using me
    Until you use me up
    Until you use me up

Edit: Added date of song This post was edited by tom jackson at November 11, 2020 10:04 AM MST

I did not know about this but well it figgers doesn't it? The person wno lost the election uses everyone all the time and then when he's done with them he throws them under the bus. I like that. i'm gonna ask it. It is a very sick song in my opinion. By people who do not value themselves at all. If you don't value you WHY SHOULD I? Right tom? But we will survive. I feel it in my bones. I don't know what damage he will do but I HAVE FAITH. Don't we have to? Thank you for your reply m'dear! Just heard on TV that people in the white house are "embarrassed" by his behavior. Also he wants to start a fundraiser for his political future when he runs for the presidency again in 2024. OMG. Here we go again? Naw. GOD is merciful, right?

I agree that we will survive.  As for the song---well, if Christie Brinkley had been using me as a boy toy 40 years ago, I would have been able to relate.

(Not only is God merciful, but apparently his ambassadors to the Trump administration are being withdrawn as a sign of his displeasure. I read that one of Trumps spiritual advisors died of Covid-19 very recently.)

Well not that I'm the kind of person to DANCE ON SOMEONE'S GRAVE. But if I were surely that would be such a one. I do believe GOD is watching our backs. It seems that a few of the Republicans are beginning to get the message that IT'S OVER! The pitiful old senile impotent inept incompetent person who lost the election is irrelevant and that is dangerous. Will he start a war? Do you think the military that he has gutted will tell him "NO"? Or alternatively his despot dictator pals who delight in how he has weakened America might take this perfect opportunity to attack us. Think the person who lost the election would do anything? No. He would see it as support of him and so would just sit back and enjoy the carnage. I have no idea what comes next tom. But I'm energized to keep fightng NO MATTER WHAT!  You? Thank you for your reply m'dear! :)

OMG. NO. MY DEFAULT POSITION IS EXTREMELY SERIOUS! I seldom if ever JOKE. I NEVER catch one thrown at me. It used to embarrass me it doesn't any more. I yam what I yam and that's all that I yam. I can live with it. I thought you knew that about me. SIGH. Thank you for your reply and clarifying it. Once again I didn't get it. A pattern of long standing.

I remember once before that you were surprised by my (in this case my attempt at) humor---I think it was in regard to naming hurricanes  (Oh, Sh** #1, etc.).

Sorry---I was making up a story (that might go into de Mello's next anthology??? lol).

Hahahahahaha! INSIDE JOKE I bet. No one else has a clue what came before this. I kinda like stuff like that tom. Private jokes that no one else can share! Now I'm not sure when de Mello was alive but I KNOW that John Donne is beyond our reach. Do you think we are exhibiting/proving that no man is an isla d entire of itself? That we are all connected whether we like it or not? Maybe that's a stretch but well are we supposed to reach beyond our ability to grasp?

Anthony de Mello, also known as Tony de Mello (4 September 1931 – 2 June 1987), was an Indian Jesuit priest and psychotherapist. A spiritual teacher, writer, and public speaker, de Mello wrote several books on spirituality and hosted numerous spiritual retreats and conferences.  (Wikipedia, boldface mine)

Donne may be beyond our reach for interviews, but his insight is fortunately available to us in his writings.

Even any person with average sensibility and intelligence should be able to grasp that we are not sufficient onto our ourselves.

Of course, I admit that I may be wrong in positing those qualities to most of those who voted for Trump.

So far at last count there are 72 million of them...those who voted for the person who lost. I reckon they need one another and know it. They just don't need the rest of us...we are s far 77 million and counting. Those voted for the person who won. I think the thing to which EVERYONE can agree is that we live in very weird times. Some think it is the best of times. Some think it is the worst of times.Maybe it has always been that way. It's just more noticeable these times. Thank you for your reply tom and Happy Thursday to thee and thine..

And those 72 million tend to marry and beget their own kind---I wish it took less education than a college degree to understand why people like Trump are exceedingly dangerous to our nation when whey they are elected to the presidency of the USA.

That is a lot of homo saps who cheer for the bad guys. I think the 77 million and counting of us who abhor the person who lost the election are going through the various stages of grief. The 72 million and counting of his adoring worshippers/admirers/supporter live in a world unknown to me. A world of lies and duplicitous and corrupt criminal traitoring and treasoning. An abomination for any nation. It is the sheer magnitude of the numbers that is oppressively disturbing. Many of them are weaponized and quite willing to go out and murder those who do not agree with that "philosophy". I knew they existed of course. But so many? That I did not know and now I do. I don't know of what benefit knowing will do for me other than color every day of my life with shades of black and gray and dirt and filth and scum and slime. Something I could have done without. Dramatic? You know what? No matter what words I employ nothing can touch the reality of the indecency and danger of what has been what is and what will be. Unless there is an intervention by a higher power. I'm ready for that. Thank you for your reply tom! :)

For months and months we were accused of planning to be violent and riot and cause a civil war if Trump lost.

Joe Biden has been declared winner by the media for days now. Yet not one city is burning as the result of Trump supporters.  Not one city is suffering from riots from Trump supporters.  There is not violence from Trump supporters.

Remember that.  When the rioting starts again.  It is not Trump supporters. It is not conservatives.

Well, Trump supporters and just following Trump's lead and waiting until the reality of his loss can no longer be ignored.

They are just waiting until then to instigate violence and riot and civil war---but as a closet Trump supporter, I assure you the plans are in place are we are just waiting to implement them.

Did you just claim to be a "closet Trump supporter"?  Lol...I am a closet Biden supporter too. We were a little disappointed they did not drag it out longer so we could riot. I need a big screen tv. But we will come up with a reason soon.

My understanding is he will be escorted out of the building and off the premises on January 20, 2021. A president does not have to concede to leave. The person who lost the 2020 election FAIR AND SQUARE will make a spectacle of it because he lusts after attention 24/7. He has no shame or pride. He grovels he bellycrawls he plays dead all the time. So how he leaves will be memorable. Now what his insane wackadoodle noodle crackpot weaponized adoring worshippers do is yet to be known. They are all his to command and he will. All the hate groups adore the heck out of him. They standby stand ready for him. Woe is us. Thank you for your reply Wolfhound and Happy Saturday to thee and thine. :)
