I sure would like to have it ON THE RECORD that duck was the only president ever impeacxhed twice in the same term. A demerit. A black mark. LOSER. Sigh. So you think it's moot then? It would be nice but look how long it took for the first impeachment. Besides, he doesn't even care. he slapped his impeachment off as if it were a mosquito. Beyond the democrats, no one else even cared. The republicans treated it as mockery long before it happened.

Pointless. If not convicted the first time, the makeup of House and Senate is unlikely to change sufficiently during a term for a second impeachment to work. Trump could knife somebody in broad daylight in front of a crowd of witnesses, and his devoted groupies would still worship him.
