Yep I have smelt limburger cheese. I just made up a joke about Trump. Q) - Why does Trump wear makeup and Cologne? A) because he is ugly and he stinks. Cheers!

To me the worst smell is butanoic acid.

I don't doubt it. That may well be. The fact that I do not remember is the result of my age (83) but more importantly the cancer in 2008. One of the standard side effects of chemo is loss of memory. Not everyone does suffer it but many do. Also your feet get numb. My feet are numb since then. But I'm alive and as far as I know cancer-free. I beat the odds. I had a 14% chance of surviving 5 years and here I am 12 years later. Loss of memory is a very small price to pay for being alive. Wouldn't you say? Thank you for your reply. Just keep telling me what we have already discussed before. I don't mind and you can get it off your chest. Okey dokey? A question you had about limburger cheese months age. I told you why it stinks and I was wrong. It is a bacteria, not butanoic acid.

I remember bringing up Limburger cheese before. I do not remember butanoic acid. So half a memory is better than none. Thank you for the correction. I wouldn't know if it were correct or incorrect. I will try to remember butanoic acid futurely in case it should ever come up again in a conversation. It's the best I can do. We do what we can. :) This post was edited by RosieG at December 11, 2020 8:48 AM MST
