    The CDC says that when it comes to cloth masks, multiple layers made of higher thread counts do a better job of protecting the wearer.

    Wearing mask etc will NOT end the virus. 

    It may protect some people from getting it.  But it will not end until the majority of people have immunity.

    New York has not been continuously locked down since spring.  Masking, etc. does not stop a pandemic but it controls the spread - just ask all those states that didn't believe in those things and who ow have a much higher case rate than we do here in NY.
