That's the genius of Trump. He knows how he comes across to YOU, but he doesn't care. He recognises your irrelevance. He knows that you'd never vote right anyway. He knew better than to try to pander to people who'll never get it.
For years the anti establishment right has tried the sweet and gentlemanly approach, terrified of being misunderstood. It gave rise to grandfather like figures like Ron Paul. An amazing guy, a true gent, but completely unelectable.
The genius of Trump is that he recognises the myth of the political centre. Elections are won by rallying your base and demoralising the opposition.
He WANTED to enrage the left. Trump understands that if you’re not catching flak you’re not over the target. He fed on your energy and used it against you. With its smear attacks, the left really showed its true colours. It energised people to stop tolerating cultural Marxism.

I think he has mainly enraged leftist women who wouldn't have voted for him anyway. I don't believe that significant numbers of right wing women have been influenced to abstain or defect. He has gained more men by not pandering to feminism.
Secretly women like alpha males like Trump anyway. Alpha males superficially irritate women but it attracts them. Male feminists superficially please women but deep inside women have nothing but contempt for them. She knows deep down that any man who will pander to her is weak.
