      What is this strange word you keep throwing around, this “feelings” word? I’m not at all familiar with either the word or the concept.

      It’s involuntary. It happens as a natural reaction to the thought, sight, mention, smell, etc of those three poisons causes it in me. You’re at fault for burgeoning an emotion from me, completely at fault.

    Not really. Removal of one's ability to feel sad, angry or depressed also suppresses joy (and the libido, I've noticed that directly in my better half who has been on prescription antidepressants for twenty years).

    I agree with you. The joy is not the same without the pain. 

    I understand and appreciate the inclination, but I don't think that it's worth it in the end.
