We are told that perfect doesn't exist. Perfection is never attainable. Would you prefer that it were? Wouldn't perfect 24/7 be boring?

If things were perfect there would be no need for a MacGyver. Nor finding solutions to problems. We would have none to solve. No need to be resourceful or creative or imaginative. I can't think of a more vanilla homogenized dull emulsified thing than 24/7 wall-to-wall perfection. You?
